OBserver is a controlled web server environment deployed on DigitalOcean LON1 for network traffic research. It serves as the destination node in a VPN protocol behavioural fingerprinting study.
Traffic arriving at this server originates from clients using different VPN protocols — WireGuard, OpenVPN, Shadowsocks — or no VPN. Packet captures are taken at the network interface level without decryption.
